Reception/Administrative Assistants: We are looking for folks who know how to answer the phone graciously and expeditiously route calls to their proper destination. There are also light administrative tasks to fill the time when the phone isn’t ringing (although it can ring a lot!). We have a regular receptionist who works Mon. – Fri. 10am – 2pm. We therefore need volunteers who can cover the Mon. – Fri., 2pm – 5pm shifts.
THRIVE! Weekend: THRIVE! Weekend is looking for peer (HIV+) Group Leaders, and Tech Team Members. Group Leaders empower others and themselves by leading small breakout support groups during the course of each bimonthly THRIVE! Weekend. Group leaders are present during the entire Weekend, participate in planning and training sessions between Thrive! Weekends, and are asked to commit to two Weekends over a six month period (there are six programs annually). Especially needed are female Group Leaders. Tech Team Members may assist with administrative and set-up tasks in the week leading up to each Weekend, and/or work each event by greeting participants, arranging and cleaning meeting spaces, serving food, coordinating audio-visual materials and providing any other support needed by program staff. Tech Team Members assist for a minimum of 4-5 hours during each THRIVE! Weekend.
